Push Tube Application Guidance

This part is intended for push-tube applications only and should be installed only when required by the model-specific KFI application chart. Correct placement helps maintain proper lift geometry and reduces unnecessary load on the winch system.

Winch Fairlead Recommendation (Synthetic Rope)

When plowing with synthetic rope, KFI recommends using a ROLLER FAIRLEAD at the winch location. A roller fairlead allows the rope to track smoothly as the plow is raised and helps reduce winch load caused by angular pull and misalignment.

• STANDARD winches (4.875" bolt pattern): KFI Synthetic Roller Fairlead #SE-RF
• WIDE winches (6.00" bolt pattern): KFI Synthetic Wide Roller Fairlead #SE-WRF

Solid aluminum hawse fairleads are not recommended for plowing applications where lift angles and geometry place increased load on the winch system.

This push-tube roller is not a substitute for a winch fairlead.
